Dublin Pageant Brings Together Cultural Diversity and Drug Prevention

Beauty, culture and community education came together in Dublin during the first Miss & Mrs Cross Continent pageant.

Approximately 450 people attended the Dublin programme, where 24 contestants representing seven nations presented their cultures, talents and personal messages.

The pageant was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd., with support from Broccoli Care Ltd. and cooperation from The Truth About Drugs Ireland.

The programme began with an educational exhibition where visitors could review factual information about drugs, addiction and prevention. Some participants completed all fourteen educational modules, demonstrating that their preparation went beyond the traditional pageant format.

Mayor of South Dublin Cllr. Francis Timmons addressed the audience and highlighted the value of cultural diversity, education and prevention.

The pageant was accompanied by a diverse cultural programme featuring dancers from several community organisations.

Software engineer Niveditha Vudayagiri received the Miss Cross Continent 2026 title at the conclusion of the programme. The first runner-up title went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina, followed by Yuki Yuliatin as drug prevention second runner-up.

The gathering connected beauty and cultural pride with leadership, informed choices and community involvement. The complete story can be read in this report about the multicultural pageant combining cultural celebration with drug education.
